Question 1

What is MyFaceGuard?

Accepted Answer

MyFaceGuard is a photo use management platform with face recognition technology. It helps organizations request, track, and document photo use permissions from people who appear in photos — before they are published.

Question 2

Is MyFaceGuard GDPR compliant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every photo use decision is recorded with a full audit trail, including timestamps and change history.

Question 3

How does automated face recognition work?

Accepted Answer

For Organizations: when uploading photos, the system recognizes visible faces for people who have allowed that specific organization to use their face recognition. This helps find people in photos faster, send photo use requests, and manage responses

For Individuals: if you have activated the find my photos faster feature, the system selects photos where you might be visible. You don't have to manually review the entire album.

Automated face recognition does not guarantee 100% accuracy, so selected photos can always be reviewed manually.

Question 4

Do I need to install an app?

Accepted Answer

No. The people you request photo use permission from simply click a link and respond in their browser. No app downloads required.

Question 5

Can it be used for free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Free plan includes 10 photos per month for free from Organization account, so you can try face recognition and photo use requests at no cost. No bank card required.

Question 6

Who is MyFaceGuard for?

Accepted Answer

MyFaceGuard is built for marketing and PR teams, data protection officers, and any organization that publishes photos of people and needs to manage photo use clearly, conveniently, and securely.

Question 7

Is MyFaceGuard a photo use form?

Accepted Answer

Yes, MyFaceGuard also functions as a digital photo use form. It replaces paper photo release forms — each person receives a link, approves or denies their photo, and every decision is stored as audit-ready proof with an exportable PDF photo use certificate.
